Our Lent Almsgiving
raised £2858.09 for CAFOD

As a school we raised enough money to buy 80 goats from CAFOD's World Gifts scheme, as well as £606 pounds to their Lent appeal (through the sale of our 'Fast Pray Give' Wristbands)

Ash Wednesday Service - 9/03/11

This simple service of readings and ashing is a powerfull reminder of our humility before our God. At the beginning of Lent we remember that we have sinned, we have failed to be the loving generous people that God calls us to be. The WC social justice group has been raising awareness of the recent violence and turmoil in Sudan. In response pupils have been encouraged to make peace cranes as symbols of their prayer for peace. [more...]
