Governing Body
Wimbledon College is a Voluntary Aided school under the Trusteeship of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). The Trustees appoint Foundation Governors who constitute the majority (11 out of 20) on the Governing Body.

Committees of the Governing Body
Admissions Committee
has responsibility for consulting on and determining the Admissions Policy and considering applications under special circumstances criteria.

Specialist School Committee
has oversight of the school's status and activities as a specialist science and mathematics school.

Sixth Form Committee
has academic and pastoral oversight of the Sixth Form (Y12-13).
Chair: Mr M Murphy
Higher Line Committee
has academic and pastoral oversight of Higher Line (Y10-11).
Chair: Mr M Murphy
Lower Line Committee
has academic and pastoral oversight of Lower Line (Y7-9).
Chair: Mr M Orbell
Finance Committee
has responsibility for setting the school's budget and for exercising oversight of fiscal, property and development matters.
Chair: Mr D Platt
Health and Safety Committee
has responsibility for establshing the school's Health and Safety Policy and procedures and reviewing accident records.
Chair: Mr A Kennedy
Personnel Committee
has oversight of teaching and support staff appointments and dealing with staff grievance, competence and disciplinary procedures.
Chair: Mrs N Kerr
Disciplinary Committees are called as required to deal with exclusion hearings and are co-ordinated by Mr M Orbell.
Meetings
Full meetings of the Governing Body are held four times a year in September, December, March and June.
Committee Meetings are usually held in the weeks preceding the December, March and June meetings of the full Governing Body.
