House Debate Final - Southwell Vs. Owen
After a fierce battle in the semi-finals between Loyola and Southwell, and Campion and Owen, Southwell and Owen won their places in the final. The motion, ‘This house believes that Higher Income Countries are not doing enough to help end global hunger,’ was a topical one - both internationally, but also as a school with our current Lenten fund raising challenge in support of for Mary’s Meals. Pupils of Owen (proposition) and Southwell (opposition) showed energetic support for their representatives, but after much deliberation, the judges announced Southwell the winners for the second year in a row. Well done Jacob Okon, Hugh Dixon and Ryan Cabral!
