UK Senior Maths Challenge Success

Congratulations to the A level further mathematicians who entered this years UKMT Senior Mathematics Challenge.

Around 1000 top performing students are then invited to take part in follow on rounds and the very best can represent their country in the International Mathematical Olympiad. For the first time, we have had a student selected to compete in first round of the British Mathematical Olympiad. We congratulate Zachary Lambert (Y13) for his selection and wish him luck for the next round of the competition on Friday 2nd of December.

In addition, Niall Greene and Luke Humphries (Y12) are two students of a further 2000 who have been invited to take part in the Senior Kangaroo. We wish them the best of luck.

Nationally the Senior Maths Challenge awards certificates to the top 60% of entrants. We achieved 100% certification with 7 Gold, 7 Silver and 8 Bronze certificates. Gold certificates were awarded to Zachary Lambert, Cyryl Gotkowicz (Y13), Niall Greene and Luke Humphries (Y12).
