More Able Programme

The role of the More Able Programme is to facilitate the development of a number of individuals that have shown a particular aptitude in one or more subjects.  These individuals are not only gifted in terms of their innate ability, but they have also demonstrated an enthusiasm and interest in the subject or subjects they have been identified in.  Provision for these individuals is fundamental in enabling them to further develop the Jesuit Pupil Profile Virtues.

Students on the More Able register should be looking to partake in super-curricular activities directly related to their specialism(s).  Some opportunities to do this will be provided by the school throughout the course of the year, and of course More Able students should expect to be challenged in their classroom setting.  However, many of the possible activities will not be governed by the school, so More Able students should demonstrate their love for the subject through being proactive.    All students of the school, particularly those on the More Able register are encouraged to use the links on the school website to search for these super-curricular opportunities.
