On 1st July, a suspected case of Swine Flu was reported in regard to a Y7 boy. Further information for parents is available here . The advice of the Health Protection Agency is that pupils should continue to attend school as usual unless they have flu-like symptoms as listed on the information sheet.

Friends of Wimbledon College - Summer Fair - this weekend

Music Week
This week is Music Week and the music department will be putting on various activities and concerts around the school including:

Scratch Chorus - a performance of Haydn's Nelson Mass on Tuesday 7th July at 7.30pm in the College Hall. All welcome. Entrance free.

St Cecilia's Concert - our main annual showcase for music on Thursday 9th July at 7.30pm beginning in the College Chapel (Britten Rejoice in the Lamb) and moving to the Hall after the interval. All welcome. Entrance free. [this notice was posted on 3.7.09]

Y12 Review Day - this week
Friday 10th July Sixth Form Centre
Parents have been invited to attend Review Day for all Poetry (Y12) pupils. Review Day is intended to review progress during the year and especially during the summer study month which begins A2 courses. [this notice was posted on 3.7.09]

Y6 Transition Day - this week
is this Wednesday 8th July 8.30-3.00. Boys need to wear school uniform, bring their PE kit, a pen and pencil, and packed lunch. Parking is available on site from 2.30pm. Parents are asked to return the forms distributed at the recent Y6 Parents Meetings. [this notice was posted on 3.7.09]

Y6 Pre-Season Rugby Training - next weekend
begins on Saturday 11th July from 9.00-11.00am at Coombe Lane. All Y6 boys starting at the College in September are encouraged to attend. Boys need to bring shorts, T-shirt, socks and trainers. [this notice was posted on 3.7.09]

Prize Giving
