Accommodation Request - URGENT
We are hosting a group of pupils from the Jesuit school Xavieriuscollege in Belgium for the return part of an exchange link. As their group is larger than ours we are short of a few beds. If you could kindly host an English speaking male or female of Sixth Form age for the nights of the 25th and 26th February please contact Mrs Wheatley or Mrs Household. Thank you. Half-Term

Wine Tasting Fundraising Evening
Friday 26th February 7.30pm Chirst the King Parish Hall (Wimbledon Park)

Music Competition 2010 Concert Final - this week
Tuesday 9th February 7.30pm
Many congratulations to all those who entered this year's Music Competition and performed so well in the heats. The category winners and concert finalists have now been announced. All participants and their families, and indeed all College families and their guests are warmly welcome to the Concert Final on Tuesday 9th February at 7.30pm. Admission is free. Results. Y9 GCSE Options Meeting - this week
Thursday 11th February 7.30pm
Y9 parents are asked to make a special effort to attend (one parent is preferable due to space constraints in the hall but both are, of course, welcome). This meeting is not for the boys who will have their own special assembly on options the same week. [this notice was posted on 28.1.10]

Y13 Review Day - this week
Friday 12th February
Rhetoric parents are reminded that Review Day takes place on Friday 12th February (the day before half-term). This is an important meeting to discuss progress. Interviews take place during the day with tutors or a member of the Sixth Form team. Parents are asked to make every effort to attend with their sons. [this notice was posted on 3.2.10]

Y11 Interviews for Sixth Form
Starting on Monday 1st February, there will be the opportunity for all pupils in Syntax to review their academic progress and to discuss their progression plans for next year. These discussions will take place with either senior members of staff or members of the Sixth Form team. [this notice was posted on 27.1.10]

Y12 Oxford University Summer School 2010
The University of Oxford is running a brand new summer school which is open to UK state school students currently in Y12.  Successful applicants to the UNIQ summer school will enjoy a week in Oxford this July, living in one of the Oxford colleges and studying their chosen subject.  500 places are available to bright, motivated and enthusiastic students who would like the chance to see what studying and living in Oxford is really like. Admissions 2011 Consultation
The College Governors have now published the proposed Admissions Policy and Supplementary Information (and Priest's Reference) Form for admissions in September 2011. Responses to the consultation should be sent to the Head Master. The consultation period closes on 1st March 2010. [this notice was posted on 26.11.09]
