Y12 Canterbury Conference
All boys joining the Sixth Form in Y12 this term will be attending the Canterbury Conference on the first day of term, Friday 3rd September. Download information

Depart: 8.00am sharp from school gates
Return: 10.30pm (depending on traffic)
Location: Christchurch Canterbury University (with Matriculation Service at Canterbury Cathedral)
Taster Sessions: you should already have returned your form with your options for the university department taster sessions (if not please contact Mrs Household)
Cost: is included in your Common Room Fee
Dress: your Sixth Form suit; you will be given your Sixth Form tie on the day.

Staff Days
Wednesday 1st and Thurdsay 2nd September 8.30am-3.00pm

Y7 Start of Term
New Y7 boys begin term on Friday 3rd September. You need to arrive before 8.30am in uniform and with PE kit and a pen and pencil. GCSE Results
GCSE results were published on 24th August. Congratulations to pupils and teachers on the best ever set of GCSE results: 81% of awards were at grades A*-C, 76% A*-C including English and Maths, and 35% at A* or A.

AS and AL Results
AS and A Level results were published on 19th August. Congratulations to pupils and teachers on another set of good results: 74.9% of awards were at grades A*-C with 21.5% at grades A* or A. Two boys obtained places at Cambridge University and one at Oxford University.

End-of-Term

Uniform List and Rules
The Uniform List and Rules for September are now available. Parents are asked to note that a number of red jumpers not bought from the official suppliers appeared last year - these are not the correct colour and this year we will not be allowing them. Saturday Music School
The new programme for the Saturday Music School 2010-11 is now available. The Saturday Music School provides instrumental tuition for over 120 adults and children of all ages on Saturday mornings at Wimbledon College.
