UKMT Senior Maths Challenge
Congratulations to the A Level Further Mathematicians who entered this years UKMT Senior Mathematics Challenge.
Around 1000 top performing students are then invited to take part in follow on rounds and the very best can represent their country in the International Mathematical Olympiad. Luke Humphries (Y13) has been selected to compete in the first round of the British Mathematical Olympiad which will take place on Friday 1st of December.
In addition, Niall Greene (Y13) and Lucinda Khalil (Y12 UHS) are two students of a further 2000 who have been invited to take part in the Senior Kangaroo. We wish them all the best of luck. Nationally the Senior Maths Challenge awards certificates to the top 60% of entrants. We achieved 100% certification with 2 Gold, 11 Silver and 11 Bronze certificates. Gold certificates were awarded to Luke Humphries and Niall Greene (Y13)."
