Pupils have been successful across all subjects and in particular within the core subjects. 34% of all grades are at Grade 7 or above and 69% of all grades are at Grade 5 or above which is in line with our three previous years’ results and a significant increase from 2019. 91% of all pupils achieved a Grade 4 in Maths, 87% in English with 84% of pupils achieving at least a Grade 4 in English and Maths. 67% have achieved at least a Grade 5 in English and Maths.

74% achieved at least a Grade 5 in English and 78% have at least a Grade 5 in Maths.  69% of pupils achieved at least two Grade 5s in Science subjects.

Amongst our outstanding individual achievements, we have twelve pupils who achieved 10 or more Grade 7s or above, including two pupils with eight Grade 9s.   A further 32 pupils achieved at least seven GCSEs at Grade 7 or above.

Headteacher, Adrian Laing said ‘Congratulations to all of our pupils who have received their results today. It is pleasing to see them achieve such well-deserved results.  It is credit to their hard work and to the support that they have received from their parents and their teachers.

As they continue on their academic journey it has been great to see so many enrolling into our Sixth Form today. We wish all of our pupils ongoing success in their studies.’
