Requirements: All applications must include a Supporting Statement (referencing the Job Description and Person Specification), a detailed CV (explaining any gaps), and the names/addresses of two professional referees with direct experience of your work in a school setting.

Interviews

References will be sought for shortlisted candidates prior to the interview stage. The school does not usually reimburse travel expenses for interviews (exceptional circumstances should be discussed with the College Secretary). Candidates for teaching posts will typically be required to deliver a demonstration lesson. We welcome informal visits to the school. Please contact the College Secretary to make arrangements. 

Salary and Contract

Wimbledon College pays teachers in accordance with the national STPCD salaries (M1-M6 and U1-U3) on the Inner London scale. The Governors of Wimbledon College are the employers of all teachers and support staff.

All successful appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory pre-employment clearances.
