Developing the Individual

At the heart of our mission as a Jesuit School is 'Cura Personalis' which means educating the whole person. This means that not only must we offer a curriculum which allows our pupils to achieve their potential, but also gives them opportunities outside of the classroom to develop all aspects of their character and talents.

The Curriculum

The Lower Line (Years 7-9) curriculum aims to build solid foundations in English, Mathematics and Science - and beyond that to provide a broad and balanced curriculum including the humanities, the creative arts and modern languages.

As they enter Higher Line (Years 10 and 11), boys choose three option subjects to continue to GCSE alongside the core.  Guidance is given about subject choice and its implications for Sixth Form and further or university education; but boys are given a wide range of possibilities to follow a curriculum that suits their needs and interests.

Further information about the curriculum is available here.
