Sixth Form Admissions

Enrolment to Sixth Form will take place on Thursday 22nd August.

For internal students, this will take place from 8.00am after receiving their results.

External students should complete the Applicaa enrolment form online between 10.00-11.00am and then attend in person to fully enrol from 12.30pm.

Sixth Form Application Process

The following information sets out the process of applying to Wimbledon College Sixth Form and key events and dates.

October

Sixth Form Open Evening - Prospective students will be able to discuss subject options with teachers and hear from the Head Teacher and Senior Prefects

Applications open on Applicaa. All applications are completed online and students can make an initial preference for courses they wish to study.

November

Deadline for Applications - November 24th 2023

Prospective Applicant Interviews

You will have an opportunity to meet our Sixth Form team and discuss which subjects you may wish to take. Using the latest mock results they will discuss career pathways and suitability for your chosen studies.

January

Provisional Offers Made

This provisional offer will be made on the basis that you meet the individual requirements for the courses you wish to study

June/July

Sixth Form Taster Sessions.

Prospective students are invited to Wimbledon College and have an opportunity to try subjects they wish to study at sixth form.

August

Sixth Form Enrolment

Enrolment takes place on the same day as GCSE results Day. Students must log onto Applicaa and go through the steps to choose their subjects now that they have their GCSE's. External students will need to evidence their results. Internal students will have their results already uploaded onto Applicaa. Entry requirements for individual subjects and pathways will be in use. Students will be invited to discuss any course changes as a result of their GCSE's in person with a member of the sixth form team.

The week after Enrolment day, students will receive confirmation of their subjects through Applicaa.

September

Induction to Sixth Form - new students will be introduced to processes and expectations at sixth form.
